membership was granted only to those exceptional athletes that
completed a SkyMarathon (a marathon reaching 4,000 metres or
13,000 feet).
With a view to reaching as
many high altitude sports enthusiasts as possible, membership
is now available to everyone at a cost of €20 (or $20 outside

The FSA constitutes a series of committees
and rules
which can be viewed on this site. The federation also includes
an important research
project, which confirms the skyrunners as the most
studied athletes. Members can contact FSA medical staff by email
through our new SkyDoc service.
